I developed a passion for music when I was just 4 years old, and at 5, I had my first stage performance as a dholki player in front of an audience of 500 people. My musical journey continued as I played the tabla in school assemblies, joined the choir, and won several awards at inter-school competitions in India. At home, I learned various instruments like the Dholki, Tabla, and Harmonium by observing other musicians and teaching myself. By the age of 12, I was involved in live audio setups and balancing for school events.

In our family’s hospitality business, I worked as an Inventory Manager and became involved in weddings starting at 18. This experience gave me insight into the importance of trust and reliability in the event industry, as weddings are often once-in-a-lifetime occasions where everything must go perfectly. Clients place immense trust in the service providers they choose, as these events hold deep personal significance and emotional value. I recognized that many people were hesitant to take risks with vendors, especially for services like music and entertainment that play a crucial role in the overall atmosphere and experience.

Seeing a gap in the market, I was determined to provide a service that clients could rely on without worry. I focused on building a brand known for its professionalism, quality, and commitment to excellence. This meant ensuring every detail was handled meticulously, from the initial consultation to the final performance, so clients could have peace of mind knowing their special day was in capable hands. My goal was not only to meet but exceed their expectations, making their events memorable and stress-free.

After completing my Master's in 2019, I finally brought my dream to life by launching Vijay Bhasin Music, an idea I'd been nurturing since 2018. I was driven by a deep passion for music and a desire to transform the event experience for clients. Our vision was not just to fill a gap in the market but to elevate the entire experience of live music, sound, lighting, and entertainment in ways that had never been seen before. It wasn't just about providing a service; it was about creating unforgettable moments and delivering a flawless experience that would leave a lasting impact on our clients and their guests.

In the past five years, my team and I have had the privilege of being part of over 700 events across Sydney and Australia. Each event is a new canvas, and we pour our heart and soul into creating magical experiences that resonate with every audience. The joy and satisfaction of seeing our clients' visions come to life, hearing their stories, and being a part of their cherished memories fuel our passion every day. For us, this is more than a business; it's a labour of love that continues to inspire and drive us to reach new heights.
